My life-long struggle with anxiety and then alcoholism in my early 20's left me feeling hopeless and tired. By the age of 24 I was no longer drinking alcohol but I felt more anxious than ever before.
Then at the age of 26 I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This diagnosis sent me on a quest to discover who I am beyond the labels and conditions.
As Joe Dispenza said, "our personality creates our personal reality". We can change our life by changing what we think, believe, feel and do.
I've spent the last 22 years studying and practicing spiritual principles and scientific techniques which have literally transformed my life from the inside out. I am actually a new person because I have learned to rewire and reprogram old habits - and create new ones.

With over 13 years of professional experience, she is on a mission to offer you spiritual, scientific and easy-to-apply tools that can help you stop the mental noise of anxiety, fear and overwhelm - and empower you to experience more joy, happiness and peace-of-mind in your every day! Joy's transformative style of coaching uniquely blends the most essential teachings & life-empowering practices from eastern yoga psychology, yoga, western positive psychology, neuroscience, consciousness studies and spirituality.
She received her positive psychology education under Harvard Professor, Tal Ben-Shahar, Wholebeing Institute and her yoga teaching certification under the Anusara style -- a therapeutic application of yoga psychology and practice.
Joy lives in the Nashville TN area with her husband and son.
